Undoubtedly Philippines is the most beautiful country in South east Asia known for it's stunning beaches, gorgeous landscapes, turquoise waterfalls and amazing weather.
No wonder thousands of travellers fly to these islands every year.
After reading quite some blogs we felt that somewhere the tranquility offered by the nature is lost.
But Philippines is a country with nearly 7000 islands and all of them doesn't experience the same number of tourists. We have decided to explore one such island ,so that we can have authentic island experience....
Amazing white sand beaches, loads of waterfalls, nice bar and restaurants.... That's Siquijor
HOW TO REACH SIQUIJOR?
Siquijor is 2 hours away via ferry from Cebu (LiloanPort). There is only one direct ferry every day morning from liloan port else one can take a 20 min ferry to dumagete and from there another one and half hour ferry to Siquijor.

Dumagete is 20min away from sibulan port. One can hire tuk tuk for 150 pesos.

PLACES TO VISIT :
One can explore the island by renting a bike for 500 pesos per day. Siquijor is home for more than 10 waterfalls, old balete tree, Kagusan beach and Salagdoong beach....
Lagaan Falls :





An amazingly beautiful falls with turquoise waters and the whole waterfalls is for yourself. You have a Tarzan swing and can also slide straight across the waterfall and are free of cost unlike Kawasan falls.
The best part is a small cave behind the waterfall....


Cambugahay falls :
Another 3 tier beautiful falls but little more touristy than lagaan falls.


White sand beaches :


WHERE TO STAY:
There are lot of resorts and home stays in siquijor at reasonable prices. One such resort is BLUE WAVE INN which has infinity pool and a private beach cost ($60 per night)....

WHERE TO EAT:
Despite of not experiencing huge tourists like other counterparts, still siquijor has quite a number of restaurants which offer delicious food and amazing cocktails. Must try places :
